Delete your data
This page explains how to delete data from Tulx: Olympiad Prep by plycoder, on Android and on the web. There are no user accounts, so there is no account to close. Most data never leaves the device.
Remove one explorer
- Open the app and tap the badge in the top right.
- Tap the bin icon beside the explorer's name and answer the grown-up sum. The explorer in use cannot be removed, so swap to another explorer first.
This deletes that explorer's name, stars, answers, mistake book, daily challenge history, settings and paused quizzes from the device at once. If the explorer joined the global ranking, their ranking entry (random name, points, streaks and badges) is deleted from our server too. If the phone is offline, the app sends that request the next time it is online.
Leave the global ranking only
Tap the badge in the top right, open Global ranking and choose Leave the ranking (grown-up sum). The explorer's ranking entry is deleted from our server straight away, and their progress stays on the device.
Delete everything
Android: uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Android settings. Web app: clear the site data for olympiad.tulx.app in your browser. If an explorer was in the ranking, leave the ranking first, or write to us.
Ask us to delete it
Write to tulx.app@gmail.com with the explorer's random ranking name (for example "Brave Fox 27"). We delete that ranking entry within 30 days. Ranking entries with no update for 12 months are deleted automatically.
What is kept
Nothing about a deleted explorer is kept by us. A "Remove ads" purchase is recorded by Google Play, not by us; you can see or ask for a refund of it in your Google Play account. Our server keeps ordinary access logs for a short time for security, as described in the privacy policy.
