Every group, every class
Choose a group when you start. You can move to another class any time from the class chip at the top. Every class and subject has its own 20-week study plan, a starting-point check, at least ten practice quizzes and at least five mini mocks.
Play checks with no timer, picture counting with fruit and animals, and every question read aloud. A guardian sits beside the child.
Number answers on a big number pad, solid shapes that turn round, and a 16-lesson picture course on shapes and geometry.
Timed mini mocks, picture activities and practice on the seven BdMO problem areas: number, algebra, geometry, counting and more.
Olympiad-style maths and English with drawn figures, typed answers and questions in the style of the junior rounds.
Practice at SSC level, with a progress view that older students can read like a report card.
HSC-level maths: trigonometry, calculus, complex numbers, counting and number theory, with ten timed mini mocks.
Linear algebra, analysis, group theory, graph theory and harder number theory, in timed papers for the senior round.
Inside the app
A short quiz has three questions and a full paper has ten. Questions come as choices, tick boxes, a typed answer, things to put in order, pairs to match, or a drawn figure. The choices are shuffled every time, so position never gives the answer away.
Each hint is written for that question and its topic. It tells you which step to think about, without handing over the answer.
Every wrong answer is saved next to the right one, topic by topic. Revision starts from what actually went wrong, the way a good teacher checks a khata.
Run quizzes and mocks with or without the clock. Timed mocks allow 10 or 30 minutes to match the paper.
Every question and hint can be read out at slow, normal or fast speed. Automatic reading is on for Beginners and Kids and off for older students.
A right answer brings a shower of stars, a wrong one a gentle shake. Finished quests earn bronze, silver or gold medals on the Compete shelf.
Brothers, sisters and cousins can share one phone or one PC. Each explorer keeps their own class, stars, saved work and settings.
Real screens
Screens from the Android app. The web app looks the same on a bigger screen. Pip is drawn in code, so he stays sharp at any size, blinks on his own and watches your finger or mouse.

Puzzle corner
Next to the practice for every level there are Sudoku and Killer Sudoku boards in five levels: easy, normal, hard, very hard and extreme. Boards are made on the device and always have exactly one answer. Below extreme, every board can be finished by reasoning alone, no guessing needed.
A hint works one square out and says why. The app also explains what each game is, how the two differ, how to play, how to finish and why they are worth the time.
A small taste
Five sample questions, one from each of five groups. Pick an answer and see how the app replies: stars for a right one, a gentle shake and a reason for a wrong one.
This is a small activity written for this page. The full question bank is in the web app and the Android app.

For guardians and teachers
Tulx: Olympiad Prep is a study tool, not a service that collects data. On Android, everything a child does stays on the phone. On the web, progress stays in the browser unless a guardian chooses to save it to an account.
There is nothing to buy and nothing to sell. The app shows no advertising and runs no analytics.
The Android app carries the whole question bank. It works on a bus, in a village, or with mobile data switched off. The web app only needs a browser.
Removing an explorer, or creating an online account on the web app, asks a grown-up sum first and says what will change.
Honest about what it is. Tulx: Olympiad Prep is independent practice material made in Dhaka. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad or any other organiser. Group names are the app's own labels for age and class ranges.

Short answers to the questions we hear most. The support page has more.
Yes. Both the web app and the Android app are free. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no paid version.
Choose Small Starts and then Class 4. Take the short starting-point check first, then follow the Today tab. The class can be changed later from the class chip at the top.
Yes, in the browser on that PC. If a guardian creates an account with an email address, progress is saved online as well and can be opened on another PC. The account can be deleted from inside the app at any time.
The Android app and the web app are the same app, but they keep separate progress. Online accounts are available on the web app only for now.
No. The questions are written for this app in the style and at the level of the olympiads students here sit for, from Class 1 to the senior round. Some practice sets were supplied by the project owner.
